Marisca removal surgery
A marisca removal surgery is a procedure for removing mariscae, which are small, skin-colored folds of tissue around the anal edge. These often develop after hemorrhoidal conditions, pregnancies, or due to genetic predisposition.
In women, mariscae can not only be visually disturbing but can also cause discomfort such as friction, itching, or problems with intimate hygiene. The procedure is usually minimally invasive and can be performed under local anaesthesia. After removal, not only does hygiene improve, but personal wellbeing often increases as well.
